A Huge Thank You

A very big thank you to all of the mountain bikers who took time away from their Saturday ride to walk the trails and help us with a trail clean up.  On Saturday, April 19th we removed 42 bags of water bottles, GU packets, tubes, tires, and chains.  Thanks Again!

VOTED AMONG NATION'S BEST

OLETA RIVER STATE PARK

VOTED AMONG NATION'S BEST

A national camping reservation organization recently honored the Florida Parks Service in its annual awards for America’s Top Outdoor Locations. ReserveAmerica recognized Florida parks in 14 categories for features such as camping, fishing and hiking. Oleta River was honored with six of the top locations with the top 15 biking trails, park beaches, picnic areas, top 10 romantic spots, kid friendly parks and top 25 fishing.

We should all be proud to be a part of such an honor and it wouldn’t have happened without the help of the volunteers and park staff.
